The Mexican Association of Food Science (AMECA) invites researchers, professionals, students, and entrepreneurs to participate in the Congress:


11th Food Science, Biotechnology & Safety Congress

This event will take place from 13 to 15 November 2024, at Marriott Tuxtla Gutierrez Hotel, located in the cultural and traditional city of Tuxtla Gutierrez, Chiapas Mexico.

The Congress will include 5 invited lectures given by leading national and international researchers, as well as oral and poster sessions in which the authors will present their research works within the following areas:

  • Area I. Postharvest Technologies and Minimally Processed Foods
  • Area II. Traditional and Endemic Foods
  • Area III. Sustainable Food Process and Novel Technologies
  • Area IV. Functional and Nutraceutical Foods
  • Area V. Health, Nutrition, and Nutrigenomics

There will also be spaces for meeting talented and creative minds that come together to collaborate, share, learn, and network, including social and cultural activities (welcome cocktail, general assembly of the AMECA, and artistic performance of Mexican culture).

Acceptance of the submitted presentation and format presentation will be communicated by September 26, 2024. The email address provided to receive notifications must be that of the presenting author. Oral and poster presentations in the Congress and their inclusion in the book of abstracts is subjected to the registration of the presenting author no later than August 23, 2024, according to the corresponding quota as described below. Each presenting author can submit up to three abstracts.
